The reason for account deactivation: Product inauthenticity concern

“YOU HAVE LISTED ITEMS UNDER A BRAND THAT YOU ARE NOT APPROVED TO SELL”.


The client was selling Disney merchandise under his trademark. This way of selling is a gross violation of Amazon's policies as well as the rights of the brand. In addition to the appeal, Amazon required invoices. The client had the invoices, but after checking with the supplier we found that the supplier was not an authorized distributor of the Disney brand.


We sent the first appeal along with the invoice and received a request from Amazon to provide the supply chain. We could not provide supply chain documents as the client did not have them and the supplier kept promising (but we understood that he did not have them either).


In the next appeal we gave a detailed description of why we could not get the supply chain, and the reason of the main violation - selling the branded goods under different trademark and without the permission of the brand itself. The appeal was sent WITHOUT the invoice.

After 5 days the account was reinstated.
